The grounds are charming and the clean, spacious bathrooms were a highlight. The service at the bar was lacking, and some spa amenities were not properly maintained. A pleasant experience with room for improvement.

The breakfast was savoury with black pudding, fresh products, option of made to order as well, and the team was caring and kept the space clean. My twin room was brand-new, had a comfortable bed. The location was lovely and I could use free parking on site.

We had a great time relaxing by the spa lounge and taking a soothing full body massage . The room was spacious and luxurious. One minor hiccup was a slight wait for breakfast items, but everything else was great. I'd recommend checking this place out for a nice getaway 😊

The hotel was vey clean. the room and the ensuite was spacious. We liked having a separate rather than an over the bath shower. Very good food in the restaurant.

Polite, friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful surroundings, comfortable bed.
No bedding available for the fold out sofa bed had to go looking at two in the morning!! However the night porter was very helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay! The staff was super friendly, and the buffet breakfast had amazing options, including made-to-order pancakes that our kids loved. Plus, the beautiful grounds and spacious rooms made it convenient for our family with two small kids.
My kids wished for a more kid-friendly pool area.

The bedroom was spacious and airy and the bathroom was excellent also. We loved the bathrobes and we wished we were staying longer than one night.

No porter facility, NO change in breakfast menu, Our room not serviced each day of our 5 day stay. Location of our room too far from lifts, smell of smoke in our room coming through air conditioning.

So close to Dunboyne but yet it felt like there was nothing around for miles. Great place to have your wedding
I felt the bar food was a little overpriced, however as we were so close to Dunboyne it meant we were not limited as to where to eat

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The bedrooms were large with good -sized bathrooms with separate bath /shower cubicle. Meals were tasty though a la carte was quite expensive. The service for breakfast and dinner was very friendly if a bit slow but we were in no rush! I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Service was just a little slow, with no-one to greet and take room number at breakfast time.

mostly very good
Not enough power outlets and none next to the bed. This is important for plugging in laptops, iPads etc. There are no clocks so I personally I rely on my iPad for time. There are also no 110v sockets for shavers etc for US customers. There should at least be one in the bathrooms. When I asked at reception there were no transformers available.
